'Bout Time - NPR Uncovers Hipsters Who Truly Understand the Internet

NPR reported today that hipsters in hipster enclaves around the country are lining the walls of their hipster coffee shops with lead to jam cell phone signals and paying money to surf the web on 28.8kbps modems. They're calling themselves slow-netters, or members of the slow-net movement.

Alice Waters, OK Go, and some neuroscientists are all 100% behind this. And may I say, it's about freaking time. I totally miss the excitement of downloading 256-color .GIF porno, and having the connection drop right before the boobies.

Vince out.
